[Here's Admiral Xen, crossing her arms and exhibiting that strange, slightly metallic quality when she speaks through her mask - the light of which flashes when she does so.]
In the interests of promoting healthy discourse, how many of the rest of you find yourselves being held captive under a pretence which can only be regarded as flimsy, at best? My own file is... Lacking in conviction, to put it mildly. But it leaves me curious, nonetheless, as to just how widespread this could be.
I'd also like to suggest the wardening community set some sort of contest for those of us with expertise in scientific pursuits. Software engineering, structural design... That sort of thing. Competition is infinitely preferable to lethargy.

Date: 2012-12-01 04:56 am (UTC)I've always loved engineering. Is that something you do a lot of?
Re: Video:
Date: 2012-12-01 05:07 am (UTC)Indeed. Primarily, in the realm of Artificial Intelligence, but I can work miracles with most technology. I've often had to.
Video:
Date: 2012-12-01 05:15 am (UTC)Artificial Intelligence is just...dreams and speculation, in my time. I'd love to learn about it, if you'd ever be willing to talk about the basics. Or even if you know any good books about it. The library stocks almost everything, right?

Ah... Even by your own species' standards, you're over two centuries old, by my reckoning. From what I understand, your familiar state of technology was more akin to... Vacuum tubes and the like, yes? You'll have to forgive me. Human history was not a speciality of mine.
