Physical description:I'm a sharrrrrk!Well, Xen's species has a frightfully low immune system! This means, outside of scheduled 'events', she'll generally be in an enclosed "enviro-suit", as shown in icons. There's video of her out there and you'd do well to look it up. Her face will never be visible while wearing this, except for a couple of eyes which glow white. The rest of it is mostly obscured behind the purple visor. Her voice, while wearing it, will tend to have a form of electronic modulation (again, audible on videos), but not when the mask is removed. What will usually be obvious is that, while humanoid, Xen has tri-jointed legs and only two thick fingers per hand, instead of four. Unless you don't want to be spoiled for the third game, a main quarian character's physical likeness, outside of the suit, is visible here (only viewable in the game if your character's story happens to lead to the quarian's death; this is not compulsory). I've used a picture of Claudia Black, Xen's voice actress, in the icons and adapted it to look similarly. Please view that for reference and compare it with this! Essentially, she'd have glowing white eyes, a light purple hue to skin, different sorts of ears (coverable by hair or hood) and some sort of circuit board-like lines visible on face and neck (although, quite what these are has not yet been clarified). Demeanour: Superior and intellectual. She typically crossed arms when speaking to someone else and tends to come across as confrontational and stand off-ish. Abilities: Physically, none. But mentally, Xen is a technological genius. Most of her kind have a reputation for working miracles with junk and scrap metal, while Xen, herself, is renowned for being a leading expert on computer systems and artificial intelligence. She has a device known as an 'omni-tool', which is a form of analytical computer, attached somehow to her left forearm and hand. This won't ever be visible unless activated, at which point it shows up as an orange hologram. This is capable of carrying out simple tasks by remote, such as deactivating monitors. Medical information: Quarians have dangerously low natural immune systems. This comes from centuries of living aboard the sterile environments of spaceships. The slightest injury can be a potential death sentence, but the environmental suits they wear generally have safety precautions (for instance, a cut will have relevant sections clamp down and pump the affected area full of antibiotics). It's worth noting that quarians are physically incapable of digesting human food and alcohol. It's either inedible or, in many cases, actually poisonous. Often, it triggers allergic reactions. This is because they are described as a "dextro-protein" species, whereas humans are a "levo-protein" race. Turians are similar in this regard and quarians can eat specially purified forms of their cuisine (and be intoxicating by specially refined forms of turian alcohol, but this is considered a dangerous action). Offensive subjects: Most quarians have an adverse cultural reaction to artificial intelligences. Xen, however, is an exception to the rule and finds it fascinating. Her people have, however, been exiled for a very long time and she might take offence to certain comments about that.
Mental: Yes. Xen has no defences, but does have very strong will-power. Mimicry: Yes, but keep in mind that quarians have different physiology and limb structure to humans. For this reason, humans couldn't simply make a copy of her suit and simply wear it, unless they were another quarian or they modified it. Violence: Xen is not a warrior and has to be careful to avoid injuries for medical reasons. However, she could use subversive means to gain retribution. Especially if it involves technology. Magic:She is Morrigan in disguise! Yes, because Xen's a scientist, not a user of magic. Debate: I'm unsure why this would ever be disallowed! But for what it's worth, Xen is a very good debater. However, she can get annoyed with those who seem to be lacking in intelligence or somehow unduly concerned by ethics.
